古着屋という土台からの新しい衣服に対する考えを、現代におけるミクスチャーとして独自に提案しているお店である。
そして、ここには古家具というもうひとつの重要な生活要素の提案がある。
椅子が好きだというところも共鳴できる点かと思うが、まさにその風景をバイヤー伊藤さんが言葉にしてくれた。
コロナ禍1年。変わること、変わらないこと、変えないこと、変えることを考え続けながら新しい共鳴者を増やしていく。
One of our dealers is "unplugged" in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
It is a unique store that proposes the idea for ??new clothing from the foundation of vintage clothing, as a modern mixture.
And they also propose another important living element, vintage furniture.
I think that I can resonate with the fact that I like chairs, but Mr. Ito, the buyer, put the scenery into words.
It’s been one full year of the Covid pandemic. We want to continue to think about what will change, what will not change, what we will not change, and what we will change, with the hope to meet more people who could sympathize with our ways of thinking/living.

「家にいる時のような解放感と外出時のような調和」
semohのコンセプトに椅子を重ね合わせた2015年の2月。
今もその椅子はこの場所にあって、次に腰掛ける人を待つ。

"文明のはじまりは椅子のはじまり"
ある日の一家団欒に
それは楽しい食卓を囲む
ある時間に開いた本と
寛ぎの時感(時間)がある
それはまた、時の権威の象徴として王様だけが座ることを許された
特別な緊張感をもつ
このような表裏一体となる存在に、semohを重ね合わせたあの時
そして今日も、この場所にその椅子を用意する
今や私たちの生活の一部として、椅子は欠かせないものとなった
誰が座るか
どう座るのか、座らないのか、わからない
知りたい
「semohの椅子」
次に腰掛ける人を待つ
僕たちが目指す調和も、きっとそこにあるはずじゃないかって

February 2015, was when I superimposed semoh’s concept to a chair.
That chair is still in this place, waiting for the next person to sit.

One day in a family
It surrounds a fun dining table
With a book that opened at a certain time,
It provides a feeling of relaxation (time)
It was also once a symbol of authority as the King was the only person allowed to sit on it.
It has a special feeling, a great tension.
That day, I superposed semoh to such a two-sided existence.
And today again, I prepare that chair in this place
This chair became an integral part of our lives.
Nobody knows
who will sit,
how to sit or not to sit.
I’m curious to find out.
This "semoh chair"
It is waiting for the next person to sit on it.
I'm sure that the harmony we aim for is can be found there.
