ここで言うのは文字通りの目の線、視覚的なもの。
写真という物は、撮る人のそれなのかなと思う。
Each person has its own perspectives.
I used the word perspective here, meaning what you look at, a visual term.
I think that a photograph represents “that” of the photographer.
semohでは、この2018年夏に初の夏用の数型がリリースされる。
フィーチャーしたのは、2018春夏のビデオに登場したプロスケーターLui Arakiの撮った写真。
氏の日常には、呼吸をするようにスケートボードとカメラがある。スケートとともに大半を過ごしてきた氏の人生が、目線となって独自の世界を切り取る。
撮ったフィルムは、暗室にて氏の手により露光され写真となって表れる。
自分の目線を切り取り、色の露出にも自分の目線を反映させる。
Lui Arakiは写真家としても活動している。
In summer 2018, semoh will be releasing a few new items.
A photograph taken by the professional skater Lui Araki who appeared in the video of the spring and summer 2018 is featured in this collection.
In his daily life, there are skateboards and cameras, just like the air to breathe. Lui’s lifestyle of having skated most of his life shapes his perspectives and frames the world in his own unique way.
The films then get exposed with the hands of Lui himself in the darkroom and appear as photographs.
He not only frames out his own perspectives but adds his own touch to the colour exposure as well.
Lui Araki is also working as a photographer.

semohの目線で作ったプリントの洋服に使用した写真は、Lui Arakiのアイデンティティに欠かせない街、ニューヨークと香港である。
いつものsemohのシャツにはなかった雰囲気を、この夏だけのコラボレーションで楽しんでもらいたい。

The photo used for the collection made with semoh's perspectives are of New York and Hong Kong, the cities indispensable to Lui Araki's identity.
